Maternity: Jodie and Warren

This was a pretty special photo shoot for me!  Firstly it was my 1st maternity shoot and 2ndly Jodie is family.  She is married to Greg's (my husband) youngest brother Warren and this is their 1st baby so it is all very exciting.

When I 1st asked Jodie if she would let me take some maternity shots of her I was not sure what her reaction would be but thankfully she was going to ask me to do some for her anyway.  It is such a special time in a females life and looking at the shoots of Jodie I now wish I had had some taken of me when I was pregnant.

Jodie was 35 weeks pregnant when these shots were taken and would have to say Jodie you look absolutely gorgeous!  I can't wait to meet my new neice or nephew in a few weeks time......and thank you guys for letting me take these special pics and capturing this special time in your lives x

Weddings: Abbey and Andy...part 2

 So a little more on Abbey and Andy......they have been together for 7 years, Andy moved to Pleasant Point to play rugby for South Canterbury and it was at the Pleasant Point rugby club that he first saw Abbey and thought she was a bit of alright!  Abbey played a little hard to get but confessed it was love at first sight.....so finally they got together and after 7 years they finally tied the knot.  It was hard to believe that I was photographing my little cousin in a wedding dress, looking stunning, all grown up and about to get married to the love of her life.  I wish you guys all the love in the world as you embark on this next chapter of your lives together x.

Abbey and Andy were married in Pleasant Point at the Poplars Reception Centre in a beautiful garden setting with family and friends.  Abbey is my cousin and I was pretty honoured when they asked me to be their photographer for their big day!  Abbey and Andy have been together for nearly 7 years and I have to say that you guys are an awesome couple and Andy we can now officaly welcome you to family!  It truly was a pleasure to photograph your wedding and I hope you enjoy your sneak peak as there is much more to come.....

TANIA AND JUSTIN

Tania and Justin were married at a small and intimate ceremony with family and friends in a beautiful setting at a property on Dalziel Rd in early October.  Tania's mum had asked me to photograph their ceremony as Tania didn't really want a photographer there but she certainly knew what shots she wanted!  You guys were great and it was a really relaxed afternoon.  Tania I just loved your boots.......check out the boot shot!  I whish you guys and your family all the best and thanks for letting me capture your memories.

     

Autumn Fun

Oh to be a kid again!  We had a great time at Dansey's pass hotel, a gorgeous historic hotel located in the Maniototo in the middle of nowhere.  Lunch and coffee in front of the massive (and I mean massive) open fire with wonderful family and friends, followed by some fun in all the autumn leaves. You can't get much better than that.
