I have decided to make the commitment to a personal 30 Day Project in which I will take and post a photo a day for September.  Hmmmm could be an interesting month.

The Beauty of Winter

It is hard to believe that Spring is just around the corner and for the past week we have been enjoying beautiful and warm sunny days, a complete contrast to week before that when we had a blanket of snow on the ground.....hopefully winters final kiss goodbye!

So as the blossom begins to appear and the days begin to lengthen, I just wanted to share these shots I took last weekend of the stunning hoar frost and snow covered mountains of the Maniototo, a little reminder of the beauty of winter.

Children: The Many Faces of Luke

Meet Luke, he is super busy and super cute and can pull the most cutest expressions!

And I was lucky enough to spend some time with him and his big sister PJ recently to capture some precious moments of them both. 

Poppy Jade, or PJ for short picked out her pretty dress especially for our photo session. She liked as it had beautiful butterflies all over it. PJ loves to chat and I got to learn all about what she wants to do when she grows up, what she is going to do for her birthday and who has made the guest list and she even provided me with advice and assistance during our photo session.

I totally enjoyed my time with these two and I hope that they put some sunshine into your day as they have put some into mine.
